Hands-off Delay Repay for your team.
Send Railhop your booking report. It checks every train your people took, identifies the Delay Repay compensation you're eligible for, and fills in each train company's form. Your admin submits them in one sitting, or the traveller taps Accept in the app.
Three steps. We handle the first two.
Whatever books your travel, Railhop can read its export. You never hand over a login.
Send your report
Upload a CSV or Excel fileDrop in a CSV or Excel export from Trainline Business, your travel agent or your expense tool. Soon you'll also be able to send a scheduled report to your company's own Railhop address and have it imported automatically.
We find every delay
Checked against what ranEach journey is checked against what actually ran. You see eligible compensation by traveller and by train company, with every deadline shown, so nothing expires unnoticed.
Claim in a batch
Or the traveller taps AcceptYour admin works through the claims in one sitting, each form filled in by our browser extension. Where a train company requires the passenger to claim, the traveller gets a notification and taps Accept.
One tap for them.
Every status for you.
Some train companies, like Great Northern and Thameslink, require the passenger to submit the claim. Railhop sends it to their phone with the form already filled in.
- They get a notification about their late train
- They tap Accept, check the filled-in form and submit
- You see it's submitted, with the claim reference
No app? They get an email with a link instead.
Nothing to hand over. Nothing to explain later.
Every claim is for compensation the passenger is entitled to, in their own name, on the train company's own form, and a person presses Submit.
No stored logins
Not your booking tool's, not the train companies'. You download the report; the operator login stays in your own browser.
No bank details on our server
Your admin types the company account on each form. Travellers' details stay on their own phone.
Only journeys made
A booking isn't proof of travel, so your admin confirms each batch, and travellers can say "I didn't take this train".
One ticket, one claim
Each ticket is claimed once, in the traveller's name. Refunded or clashing bookings are held, not claimed.
Where the compensation is paid
To your company's bank account, where the train company's form offers it. A few pay only to the card that paid, and Railhop tells you which before you claim.

Using Railhop
Does Railhop submit claims for us?
No. A person always submits: your admin on the train company's own form, filled in by our browser extension, or the traveller in the Railhop app. Railhop never presses Submit.
What can we see before paying?
Upload a report free and see your eligible compensation, by traveller and by train company, and what closes soon. Your first claim's journey details open free, so you can make that claim without subscribing. To see every journey and claim the rest, subscribe with a card or Direct Debit: you then pay 20% of the value claimed, with no other fees.
Who can open a business account?
Anyone at the company with a work email address. Railhop identifies your company by its email domain, so free email addresses, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or iCloud, can't open a business account. Travellers you invite may use any address.
Which booking tools does it work with?
Any that exports CSV or Excel, including Trainline Business's passenger level report and Navan's booking report, which can also be emailed to Railhop on a schedule. Railhop works out the columns, you check its guesses once, and it remembers them next time.
Why do some claims go to the traveller?
Some train companies, like Great Northern and Thameslink, require the passenger to claim. Others haven't confirmed they accept company claims yet, so those go to the traveller too until they do.
Where is the compensation paid?
To your company's bank account, where the train company's form offers it. A few pay only to the card that paid for the ticket, and Railhop tells you which before you claim.
Data and Security
Is our data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to it is limited to the people who need it. We never store your travel booking logins, and there are no bank details on our server: Stripe holds your payment details. The file you upload isn't kept, only the journeys it contains.
Who owns the data? What about GDPR?
Your company does. Your company is the controller and Railhop is your processor, under a written Data Processing Agreement made under Article 28 of the UK GDPR. You accept it when you create your workspace, and you can read it first on our Data Processing Agreement page.
How long do you keep it?
Journeys and claims are kept for 2 years after the travel date for your expense records, then deleted. For submitted claims, the billing line (date, operator, stations, amounts and commission, without the traveller) is kept for 6 years for tax records, then deleted.
Who can see it?
Your company's owners and admins see your workspace, and travellers see only the claims sent to them. At Railhop, access is limited to authorised personnel of KMR Digital Ltd, bound by confidentiality, as the Data Processing Agreement sets out, including its review queue for train company replies that can't be matched automatically.
Are you registered with the ICO?
Railhop is a trading name of KMR Digital Ltd (company no. 17516682). Its registration number with the Information Commissioner's Office will be shown here once it is issued.
Do you sell our data?
No. Railhop never sells your data or shares it for marketing. Your journeys are used to find and claim your company's compensation, and otherwise only in anonymised, aggregated statistics, such as our monthly delay totals, that never identify your company or anyone in it.
